Valencia CF renew agreement with VCF Academy Programs Italy and Malta

Valencia CF strengthen their presence in Italy with the extension for three more years of the agreement through which they develop the VCF Academy Programs Italy and Malta. The Club, through the VCF Academy Programs, organises each season more than twenty VCF Camps in different locations across Italy, where next year marks ten years of presence.

“We are very happy because we have completed the renewal with Valencia CF for another 3 years, next year will be 10 and we are already thinking about organising something attractive for the children who have taken part in these camps. It is always a pleasure and a pride to represent Valencia in Italy and Malta,” says Giulio Longo.

The head of the VCF Academy Programs Italy and Malta had the opportunity to visit Mestalla and hold a meeting in the Juan Cruz Sol Room with Club ambassadors and legends Ricardo Arias and Miguel Tendillo, as well as Marketing Director Jorge García and VCF Academy Director Luis Martínez.

In these nearly 10 years of connection, the presence of Valencia CF has continued to grow in a country with such a strong football tradition as Italy. “The programme has grown thanks to the quality of the Club’s work,” highlights Giulio.

“Last year we organised 23 VCF Camps in Italy involving more than one thousand children. For next summer the projection is to have more camps, but above all to guarantee the quality of our events with the players, with the coaches who come from Valencia and the Italian coaches who are trained at the Ciudad Deportiva.”

The link between Valencia CF and the VCF Academy Programs Italy and Malta is strengthened in every VCF Camp but also in every Clinic and in every opportunity, such as the recent VCF Academy Coaches Convention, which was attended by a large group of Italian coaches.

“Twenty-three people travelled from Italy and for us it is a source of pride because training coaches is important to involve them in all the activities of the VCF Camps and all the official Valencia CF activities in Italy,” emphasises Giulio.

“For us it is important because thanks to all the activities that Valencia CF organises for partners, such as this VCF Academy Coaches Convention, it helps us to train, to create links, to develop the project and this is very important for us,” concludes Giulio.

The VCF Soccer Academies, through which the VCF Academy is present in strategic markets across North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania, the VCF Soccer Camps, international partnerships, technical consultancy and the VCF Academy World Cup are all part of the VCF Soccer Academy Programs that help expand the Valencia CF brand worldwide and what its colours represent.

Valencia CF, through the VCF Academy Programs, organises each season a wide programme of activities in which more than 5,000 players and 400 coaches from over 50 countries around the world take part, gaining a deeper understanding of the VCF Academy playing methodology.
